Hiphop legend Nelly performed in Dublin last night to a crowd of cheering fans – however, things didn’t go as smoothly as he might have hoped.
Taking to the stage in Vicar Street, the star had audience members chanting along to his classic hits, but the sing-song went downhill pretty fast.
After the chorus, the crowd forgot the words to one of Nelly’s most famous songs, Hot in Here and things became fairly awkward.
The singer couldn’t hide his anger when the song fell apart and a fan caught the whole thing on camera.
The American rapper didn’t let the audience off lightly and told them that he wasn’t going to end the night on that bum note.
Breaking it down, the 41-year-old can be heard in the video, shared by Lovin Dublin, saying “There’s no way in hell that I’m going to let us get the f**k out of here like that, we’re going to try that one more time”, and the crowd were loving it!
Nelly is due to perform again tonight in Vicar Street, so let’s hope tonight’s audience have been practicing!
