Naomi Clarke has shared an update with her followers on how she’s adjusting to baby number three. The popular fashion influencer and her husband, Cormac, welcomed another baby girl into their family earlier this year.
The couple are already parents to two girls, Anabelle Ivy and Luna May, and now have a third, little Kaia.
Yesterday, Naomi answered some questions in a Q&A on Instagram, where she shared how the last few months have been.
One follower asked her; “Are you getting much sleep and how are you adapting to 3 children?”
In response she said; “No, not much sleep. Some nights better than others. And actually this weekend she had two of her best nights (followed by a brutal one last night).”
“Kaia has quite severe reflux (my other two did also), so we are having a hard enough time but I have’t been sharing those details, I would hate to sound like I’m complaining, because ultimately she is absolutely perfect and healthy and this will pass but for anyone who has experience of it , you’ll know reflux is sh*%.”
Continuing she said; “It’s draining and stressful on parents as there can be so much crying and unsettled periods, it makes feeding difficult etc, and its so hard on the babies. As for the adjustment to 3, what can I say…it’s wild. So busy, I feel there is never a free moment, I haven’t quite found my stride yet, but I know it’s still very early days and we will adjust.”
Another of Naomi’s followers simply asked her how she was feeling, and she replied candidly, sharing the ups and downs of the early days with a newborn.
The mother-of-three replied; “I’m doing good overall I think. Having said that, some days are much harder than others, like any new mammy, there are some days when I think I can’t do this or I can’t cope and everything feels totally overwhelming and I’m not doing good enough at anything, and then days when I feel ok and I feel I’m on top of things.”
“Lots of tears and wobblers over the last few weeks of course, but this time around I know whats normal. I’m trying to be kinder to myself but that’s a work in progress,” she added.
