Nadia Forde is looking pretty incredible at the moment, and has understandably been flashing her new toned bod at any opportunity she can get.
The I’m A Celeb star has dropped two dress sizes since last year and has been photographed posing in an array of bikinis to show off her hard work over the past number of weeks.
But the model-turned-singer has admitted that there’s a poignant reason behind why she decided to hit the gym hard: to deal with her mother’s illness and death.
Nadia’s mum Berenice Paolozzi sadly passed away last June after suffering from lymphoma cancer, and the beauty has admitted that her way of coping was to turn to exercise.
“Last summer going to the gym for that 40 minutes took my mind of all the stuff going on in my life, with my mum,” she told EVOKE.ie.
“I was in with her in the hospice every day, so that workout time was a way to clear my head and gather my thoughts.”
She added: “At the time I needed to make sure everything was in order, so a lot was happening. If you’re up all night with someone like that, worrying about them, you need to be in good form.”
Nadia’s fitness regime now consists of everything from boxing, ballet, pilates and weight-lifting, which she regularly documents on her Instragram feed to her almost 80k followers.
