If you haven’t seen Michael Fassbender’s latest film, The Killer then what are you doing?
His latest project hit Netflix last month, and fans have been loving it.
The Kerry native stars as a hired assassin who patiently waits for an opportune moment to take out his target.
While Michael leads the film, he also appears alongside an all-star cast including the likes of Charles Parnell, Arliss Howard, Sophie Charlotte and Tilda Swinton.
And as exciting as it was to be a part of the project, Michael has now admitted to the one regret he made while filming: telling the director he could do hundreds of push-ups.
Oh, Michael.
Speaking at the Actors on Actors conversation for Variety, he revealed that he told The Killer’s filmmaker, David Fincher, that he could do 100 push-ups on his fingertips as he was expected to be able to do them on camera.
“Oh my God! Well, I did say to them, I was like, ‘I think I’ve got about 100 [push-ups on my fingertips] in me’…. Not consecutively, you know what I mean?” he began.
“It’s like do 10, 10. But then I ended up – and I could go like, ‘never let the truth get in the way of a good story’ – but I’m pretty sure I did 260.
“I can’t remember. I remember regretting telling them that I could do it,” he laughed.
Better him than us, that’s all we’ll say!
The Killer is currently available to stream on Netflix.
