Everyone’s talking about Daniel O’Donnell being paired with Kristina Rihanoff for his appearance on Strictly Come Dancing and now his wife Majella has had her say.
Tongues have been wagging after it emerged that Daniel was partnered with the controversial dancer who has dated two of her co-stars and is called the Siberian Siren, but Mrs.O’Donnell said she has no concerns about the blonde beauty.
Speaking to Ryan Tubridy on his new RTE Radio 1 programme yesterday, Majella insisted she’s thrilled about the match for the BBC hit show.
‘I don’t think I’ll be ditched. I’m very confident. She’s very happy where she is now and we’re very happy, so I have absolutely no qualms at all. She’s very nice, I’ve met her. She’s also a brilliant choreographer. We’ve met and she is great.’
She also admitted she’s ‘sick with nerves’ ahead of the Strictly live episodes. The pair will be together on our screens soon as their new show Daniel and Majella’s B&B Road Trip airs on UTV, and Majella says viewers are in for a treat.
‘It’s going to be quite entertaining. I laughed my head off, so people are going to think I’m nuts,’ she said.
‘They’ll see more of Daniel, [another side] to him; his wit and how we interact with one another. That’s how we are in everyday life, so it’s all the banter between us.’ We can’t wait!
