Love/Hate actor Ian Lloyd Anderson has melted all our hearts in VIP Towers by admitting he cried with happiness on his wedding day, which took place earlier this year.
Ian, famous for his role as Deano in the hit RTE show, tied the knot with Kim Harris back in April, before they jetted off for a month-long honeymoon around South-East Asia, and he’s now opened up on how emotional his big day was.
Revealing he cried when he saw his bride, he said: “Kim looked amazing and I was in an absolute state when she was walking down the aisle.
“The emotion creeps up on you and you don’t expect it. But we had a brilliant time and married life is amazing,” he told the Herald.
The Irish actor shared gorgeous snaps of the wedding online, and at the time tweeted: “I woke up this morning and this woman was my wife. So happy. I love you Kimbo. Amazing day!”
Things are not only going well for Ian with his love life, as the Dubliner is also finding growing success with his career. He’s currently performing opposite his former co-star Laurence Kinlan (who played Elmo) in Conor McPherson’s play, The Night Alive, which is running at the Gaiety until October 4 as part of the Dublin Theatre Festival. He also recently had a small part in the award-winning show Game of Thrones.
Meanwhile, Ian recently admitted he doesn’t want the show that made him a household name to return. “I’m delighted the show is over, for selfish reasons,” he joked.
“Obviously, because I’m dead in it! I think it’d kill me to know the lads were going back to do another series and I wasn’t there.”
