Longford lady Maura Higgins has gone down a storm with viewers since arriving in the Love Island villa earlier this summer, and her list of famous fans continues to grow with each passing episode.
As well as Lena Dunham and Amy Schumer, Muara’s caught the attention of former winner, Dani Dyer.
Dani, who won the 2018 series with ex-boyfriend Jack Fincham, can’t get enough of the Irish lass, and hopes she’ll do well in the show.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, she said, “I’m hooked [to this series]. 9pm every night I’m in front of the telly, and I only allow talking when the adverts are on.
“I love Maura. She’s just so funny. Maura to win!”
As someone who knows a thing or two about relationships in the villa, Dani reckons Tommy and Molly Mae are the ones to watch.
“I don’t have a favourite couple just yet, but I do think they’ll be in the final,” she said.
And does she think romance can last in the outside world?
“The feelings in the villa are so intense. It’s a proper summer of love. There’s nothing like it.”
Dani was over in Dublin recently to launch her SoSue lash range in Penneys stores. The Girl Code collection is made up of two day lashes, Beaut and Babe, and two night lashes, Darlin’ and Fit.
“I’m not big on make-up, but lashes have always been a big part of my beauty regime,” she told us. “If I don’t have lashes on I feel like a bald chicken.
“I wanted to find the right partner, and Suzanne’s experience and contacts in the industry made it a no-brainer.”
