Having spent the summer working on their latest track with Courteney Cox and her husband Johnny McDaid, the group have released a brand new version of the song – as gaeilge!
The group created the cover on Eoghan McDermott’s RTE 2fm show, and shared the video online saying, “The first time the world is hearing this – ‘Lig An Ghra Isteach I Do Chroi’”
The Swords natives wrote the original version of the song earlier in the year with Johnny McDaid, an Irish musician, before allowing Courteney Cox to shoot the music video.
Speaking to People Magazine at the time of the single release, Courteney said, “When Johnny first played me ‘Love Will Set You Free’, I was blown away. The song is incredibly beautiful.
“After hanging out with the guys and getting to know their personalities, I knew I wanted to direct this video and really showcase who they are as musicians and individuals.
“They are sweet, loving and personable and I wanted to show that.”
