Liam Cunningham has revealed he had a brush with death on the set of Game of Thrones.
The Dubliner, who plays Ser Davos, on the hit HBO series, admitted that he was very nearly beheaded while filming scenes.
Speaking to the Irish Daily Star, he said, “I nearly got killed by a camera.
“We were doing this scene where I’m riding past a line of soldiers on horseback, sending them off into battle. So when they’re sent off, my horse wants to go with the rest of the gang, as all horses do.
“I had to hold him back, but they brought the camera crane in really close. Luckily, I could see it in my peripheral vision, because my horse jumped sideways and I narrowly avoided being decapitated.”
Wow, now that would have been a very scary situation indeed!
