Laurence Kinlan has paid an emotional tribute to Heath Ledger on the 11th anniversary of his death.
The 28-year-old actor sadly passed away in 2008 following an accidental overdose in New York.
Laurence worked with the Australian star on movie Ned Kelly (2003), in which the two played siblings.
Sharing a picture of himself with the late actor, Laurence said, “Hard to believe Heath passed 11 years today. He played my big brother, and that he was.
“I always thought he was so much older than me and it was only until recently I realised he was only 4 years older. He was so wise beyond his years that it seemed that way.
“He really took on the big brother role and couldn’t have been any more caring if he tried. It was my first time working so far away from home and he made me feel so welcome.
“He was the most generous, caring, incredible person/actor you could meet. I can only imagine what he’d have gone on to achieve. You left a huge legacy mate. Thinking of you.”
