Kodaline announce farewell tour after confirming split

Last week, Kodaline announced that they were calling time on their band following the release of their fifth album.

The beloved Irish band confirmed that after a decade, they have decided to split.

Sharing the news, they said: “Hi Everyone, After over a decade together we’ve made the difficult decision to say goodbye to Kodaline. We know this might come as a surprise, and it’s definitely bittersweet for us too.

“What we’ve shared with you has changed our lives forever. From busking on the streets of Dublin to selling out shows and arenas across the world, it really has been the stuff that dreams are made of.

“We want to end on a high, so before we say goodbye, we’re heading into the studio one last time, to record our 5th, and final album, as Kodaline. We are, and always will be, forever grateful for your love and support. It’s been a journey that we will never forget and we hope the music stays with you long after we’re gone.

“To celebrate the final album and final chapter of Kodaline, we’re going to play in Dublin and Cork next summer. We can’t wait to see everyone.  Thanks for all your support over the years it’s been an incredible journey. With all our love, Steve, Vinny, Mark & Jay.”

Now the lads have announced they are going on tour one last time.

Their Farewell Shows will happen at Virgin Media Park, Cork, on Friday, 19th June and Malahide Castle, Dublin, on Saturday, 20th June 2026.

Tickets priced from €54.85 – €65.70 inclusive go on sale at 9am this Friday, 17 October via Ticketmaster.
