Even more so when you get to spend the festive period in your own home for the first time.
Ireland AM’s Katja Mia has just moved out of her family home and is ready to celebrate Christmas in the comfort of her first home.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, the presenter revealed how she would be spending the day.
“I just moved out this year and I’m going to have my family over,“ she explains.
“I’m hosting Christmas this year and I’m very excited about that. I love cooking and I love family time. It’s going to be fun.“

And we’re sure there will be plenty of celebrations after she was announced as one of the presenters of Ireland AM each weekend.
She’s no stranger to presenting, she got her big break when she entered a competition to find new ambassadors and presenters for English presenter, Maya Jama’s skincare brand.
“Everything is going really well. I’m so grateful, it’s a great opportunity,” she previously told us about the incredible opportunity.
We can’t wait to see what 2023 brings for the presenter.
