Kate Grant’s star power has been soaring in recent years.
And she has had plenty of pinch me moments, but the biggest she has to say is meeting actual royalty.
The Tyrone model chatted to us on the red carpet at the Platinum VIP Style Awards admitting that meeting Kate Middleton had to be a highlight for her.
“I just didn’t expect it, I was overwhelmed and it was brilliant. It was a great experience. It was a big moment really, there is a special bond there,” she enthused.

She and her family flew over to Buckingham Palace to meet with the royals, including Kate Middleton who posed for pictures with the model.
The beauty was invited to the event to celebrate her BEM, which she received for “services to the community in Cookstown”.
Kate has worked to raise awareness and change the perception of people with Down Syndrome. Earlier this year, she flew to the UK to mark the passing of a new Down Syndrome Bill.
“This Bill will ensure the needs of people with Down’s Syndrome will be better met by local authorities and heath and care services, and will also support people with other genetic conditions and disabilities who share similar experiences to people with Down’s Syndrome,” she wrote at the time.
“A great day for everyone especially those with Down Syndrome!”
Of course, it’s not just literal royalty she’s a fan of. Kate is the biggest Kardashian fan, who are practically royalty in their own right.

So who does she prefer Kate or Kim?
“I love both of them, they are both living legends and they’re both my idols,” she diplomatically replies.
