Jon Bon Jovi has shared a heartfelt message to Larry Gogan, as he steps away from RTE 2FM.
The acclaimed broadcaster is finishing up at the station today after 40 years, but plans to remain in radio.
Larry is venturing into pastures new, working on their digital station, RTE Gold, weekdays from 1pm.
Celebrating his time in 2FM, America rockstar Jon Bon Jovi shared a touching tribute.

In a clip shared by MCD, he said, “Hello Larry it’s your old friend Jon Bon Jovi reaching out from the other side of Ireland, or as it’s known here, New Jersey.
“I want to thank you very much for all of your kind words over the years. Your support of Bon Jovi has been second to none.
“I hear that you’re retiring, but you’ll probably be spinning records around your house – at least I hope so
“If anything, my friend, I just wanted to reach out and say you’re the best. God speed to you.”
