Jeremy McConnell has spoken out saying he will be the “best dad” if Stephanie Davis’ baby turns out to be his.
The lrish model and actress had a whirlwind romance after meeting on Celebrity Big Brother last year, however, their romance ended just months after they left the house, and Stephanie revealed she was pregnant shortly after the split.
The former Hollyoaks actress has always claimed the Dublin native is the father of her baby, however, Jeremy has always denied this and now he has claimed that his ex slept with a number of people directly after they broke up.
“I was in a position where we broke up for a period of time. I found out she was pregnant, but in the meantime I knew she was with other people,” he told The Daily Star.
Despite his doubts, Jeremy went on to say that if he finds out the baby is his, he will step up and be the “best dad”.
“I can’t do anything while the baby’s in there. When it comes out I would step up to the plate.” he said.
“All I want is clarification. If I find out it’s mine I’ll be the best dad. This is why I don’t understand people having a go at me. They think I won’t be there for the baby, which is not the case.”
