Jennifer Zamparelli has opened up to followers about following ill during a family holiday.
Heading off on a relaxing break to Spain with hubby Lau and their children, Florence and Enzo, after a busy few months on hosting duties for Dancing With The Stars.
But the first few days were anything but the calm and quiet getaway Jen was hoping for, as she fell ill during the first days of the break.
Updating followers on Instagram, the TV personality wrote: “After 5 days of a stomach bug and not being able to hold down anything, eat or drink, I’ve made it onto a boat trip with my family.”
“Being sick on holidays sucks but I still had a great time.”
The Dubliner shared her excitement for the rest of the holiday, now sahe is feeling better.
“Roll on tomorrow for my last night I might go bananas and have butter on my toast.”
Before joking: “This is my recovery outfit. Casual, clean (no puke) and easy to manoeuvre if the shit hits the fan….literally.”
“Say a prayer to the patron saint of holidays for me!”
Before Jen headed on holidays, she addressed speculation about taking over the Late Late Show from Ryan Tubridy.
I don’t think…no I wouldn’t. I think there’s a lot of scrutiny. It’s never been…I am very happy where I am,” she explained.
“I love doing Dancing with the Stars, I’ve really gotten into a grove with it. I love doing my radio show. I feel like the most powerful person in radio because I don’t want for anything. I’m really content at the minute. That’s a really powerful position to be in.“
