Jedward are no strangers when it comes to sharing uplifting messages online, whether that be on their pages or directly to celebs, fans and followers.
The latest person they have sent a sweet message to is no other than Love Island’s Shannon Singh. Shannon was, unfortunately, the first person to leave the Love Island villa, after a shocking twist that saw her receive a message to say her time on the show had come to an end.
Speaking on The Six O’Clock Show with Muireann O’Connell and Martin King, Shannon revealed that John and Edward sent her a voice note after she left the show, and she was “buzzing” when she saw it.
“Do you know what? I had Jedward sending voice notes which I was absolutely buzzing with,” she shared on the show.
“They sent me a voice note [saying], ‘Hi Shannon, do you know the longest river in Ireland is called Shannon so keep going keep vibing,’ and that’s it.”
After Shannon left the Love Island villa, there was backlash towards fellow Islanders Chloe, people started to threaten her as she was the one who had the choice in the recoupling.
Shannon said that she has encouraged everyone to be kind to Chloe and that “no one deserves death threats”.
She explained, “I have spoken about that a lot I have been pushing everyone to be kind it’s a gameshow she’s definitely playing a game but no one deserves death threats.”
