Irish actor James Nesbitt and his former wife Sonia Forbes-Adams are set to divorce after 22 years of marriage.
The couple parted ways in 2013 but are now finalising their separation through London’s High Court, according to The Mirror.
A source close to the Cold Feet star told the Mail Online that James and Sonia are on good terms with each other and ask that their family lives be respected.
“James and Sonia Nesbitt separated over two years ago as previously reported. They remain on the best of terms and request that their family’s privacy is respected. There are no third parties involved,” the source said.
Ballemena born James currently lives in south London, while his ex-wife now resides in a £1.6 million home in London.
