James and John Kavanagh lead this week’s Late Late show line-up

The brothers are famous for two very different reasons.

This Friday’s Late Late show line-up has been revealed.

First up is James and John Kavanagh, the brothers who both shot to fame in completely different ways.

James is best known for his massive Snapchat following and online influence, while brother John better known as Coach Kavanagh is partly credited with Conor McGregor’s massive success.

Colm ’The Gooch Cooper’ will chat about his hugely successful football career, winning five All-Ireland titles with Kerry before retiring from inter-county football earlier this year. He also give his take on controversy around his upcoming testimonial dinner.

Also chatting to Ryan is Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope creator Stefanie Preissner. She’ll be chatting about her new book Why Can’t Everything Just Stay the Same?

Broadcaster Ronan Collins will be chatting about his recent health problems. While getting ready to host an event recently, he lost power in one of his legs. He was then taken to hospital in the middle of the night and doctors quickly discovered he was in need of emergency surgery on his spine.

His story is captured in the upcoming RTÉ2 series Trauma and on Friday night he’ll be telling viewers how the speedy action of those medics saved him from permanent paralysis.

Directer Jim Sheridan, known for My Left Foot, will be chatting about his search for the perfect actor to play Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott; his upcoming Lockerbie project and the Dublin-Arabic Film Festival.

He’ll also be talking about taking action last year during the Apollo House campaign.

There will also be a discussion on the upcoming budget with a panel of commentators.

For music, Electric Eddie joins Ryan as three amateur singers battle it out to be crowned the Late Late’s karaoke king or queen.
