Saoirse Ronan and her actor beau Jack Lowden are known for keeping their relationship quite private. Until now that is, as Jack couldn’t help but gush about his girlfriend’s talent in a recent interview.
The couple are currently working together on the upcoming film, The Outrun, which see Saoirse in the lead role, with the project being produced by Arcade Pictures, a joint venture between the couple and producer, Dominic Norris.
Opening up to I News, the Scotsman shared how in awe of Saoirse’s talent he is. Saying: “My first love is actors, and when you’re given a Ferrari like her, it’s all about how you make everything good for the Ferrari to show off. Don’t make a Ferrari do what a Renault Clio does. It’s a dreadful analogy but they’re like gold dust, good actors. When there’s someone like that, you just have to facilitate them and you will get gold. And my God, did we.”
Continuing he gushed about working in the same industry as partner sharing how having “one of the best actors in the world” by your side can make rehearsing for audition “a lot easier.”
Joking: “Sometimes she gives a better performance than me off camera and you’re a bit like, ‘Can you, erm, not?’”
The Gold star also opened up about keeping their romance private.
“Her and I don’t find that odd. We’re hugely appreciative of the level of scrutiny we have… We’re treated well but we don’t seek it either. People have got it far worse. It’s also obviously of our own making. Whatever – as long as we’ve got each other, we’re alright with any of that,” he said.
Saoirse and Jack began seeing each other after meeting on set while filming Mary Queen Of Scots together in 2018.
While they do like to keep their relationship quiet, Jack does post snaps of the Carlow native on his Instagram very often, sharing a glimpse at their romance.
