Vogue Williams has opened up about raising her son over in the UK.
The Dubliner and her husband Spencer Mathews welcomed their first child last week in London, but Vogue says she will always be a little homesick.
“My favourite place in the world is Howth and Spencer is very aware of that. I actually miss is not because I haven’t been able to fly so I haven’t been home in about a month.
“I’ve had to resign myself to the fact that the baby will have an English accent. I think you get away with a lot more with an Irish accent,” she told RTE Guide.
The TV presenter added that she does see herself coming home to Ireland, even if it’s just part-time.
“I would think of buying a house in Dublin because once you get to a stage where you don’t have to be in London full-time, I would like to see myself living in Howth.”
Vogue and Spencer announced the arrival of their baby last week with sweet snaps.
The model shared a photo of her little one in a blue onsie and wrote:
“This morning at 3:55am, we welcomed our son into a quiet London hospital… He is beautiful and healthy. We feel truly blessed”
Spencer shared the same message along with a snap of him holding his son’s hand.
Such an exciting time for the couple!
