Daniel O’Donnell and his wife Majella are set to star in their very own TV show.
The singer has taken a hiatus from touring to be with his wife while she’s recovering from breast cancer, but we can expect to see the couple on our screens sometime this year.
The plan for the television series is that the duo will travel across Ireland and stay in various B&B’s along their journey. They intend to visit all the tourist hotspots and number one holiday destinations.
Speaking to The Herald Daniel revealed,” I’m going to do something for TG4 and another series with Majella, touring Ireland and staying in B&Bs”.
“It will be on later in the year, but we’re not sure which station yet.”
Along with this exciting news, the couple also have some other excitement ahead in the form of their first grandchild.
“We’re so looking forward to being grandparents,” Mejella said. “I’ve a room done up for when they visit. We’re so excited, we can’t wait.”
Majella’s daughter Siobhan and her fiance Gavin are expecting their first baby this summer.
