Brian McFadden has revealed that he will not be reuniting with former boy band Westlife, following recent rumours.

The 38-year-old left the Irish group back in 2004, who then continued on to huge success as a four person band.

In recent months, rumours have been circulating that the lads are to get back together following their split in 2012, Nicky Byrne revealing it would ‘definitely happen’ at some stage.

However, now Brian McFadden is revealing that the boys turned down a multi million pound deal to reunite as a five piece.

“I was offered a big multi-million pound deal,” Brian told The Irish Sun.

“How does that make me feel? It makes me pretty upset because I didn’t realise they still had those feelings towards me.”

Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan, Mark Feehily and Kian Egan were reportedly offered €11.4 million each for a Westlife reunion, while Brian is said to have been offered €4.5 million to reunite with the band.

Shane Filan recently spoke out about the idea of the whole band getting back together.

“I haven’t seen Brian in ten years,” he told Digital Spy.

“We’ve just lost touch. It’s like going to school with somebody and then not speaking.

“We all had a good relationship with Brian, then he just left the band very early on. And I don’t think we would ever reunite with him.

“I honestly see Westlife as being four people now.

“The four people who started and finished Westlife are what I consider the band.”
