First Dates Ireland brings us people from all walks of life.
From hilarious characters to sweet and caring couples, to the anger-inducing inappropriate dates, there is always a little bit of everything.
But it seems this week we are in for something totally different, as we meet someone who is quite possibly the country’s pickiest eater.
Ethan, who is paired up with Grainne, begins by stressing that he is a very ‘awkward’ eater, and while we’ve all met someone like that, we never expected it to this extreme.
During the date, Ethan orders plain boiled rice for dinner, not on the side, or instead of fries, no no, Ethan specified that boiled rice was the perfect dish for him.
In the interview afterwards, Grainne is visibly shocked admitting, “I thought it was just like ‘I don’t eat veg'”.
“What do you not eat?”
