UFC president Dana White has hinted that Conor McGregor may take on Jose Aldo in November’s UFC 205 fight, at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Speaking to Yahoo Sports Dana said that he wants Crumlin native Conor to defend his featherweight belt against Brazilian Aldo, and for lightweight champ Eddie Alverez to take on the unbeaten Khabib Nurmagomedov.
“Conor’s foot is hurt, but he thinks he can fight. I want him to fight Aldo,” he said.
However, Conor appears to have a different idea in mind. Since the pair last fought each other in UFC 194, the Notorious has changed weight division and now wants to fight Alverez on November 12th and Aldo at a later date.
All will be revealed tomorrow, as the full schedule for UFC 205 will be officially confirmed on Tuesday September 27th.
