It was leaked earlier this week that Conor McGregor will make an unexpected announcement following his UFC 205 fight.
Reports suggest that he’s set to take some time off from MMA after his November fight against Eddie Alvarez, and the reason why may have just been uncovered.
Talk MMA has reported that the Notorious is set to take some time out of the ring because his partner Dee Devlin may be pregnant.
Taking to Twitter the MMA insider said, “Heard from a source who spent about 15 mins with McGregor and Dee. Source said he’s taking a ‘year (ish)’ off for their newborn.”
While we’ll have to wait for the news to be officially confirmed, the couple have been together for almost a decade and are absolutely adorable. Dee exclusively told VIP Magazine that despite their crazy lifestyles, her relationship with Conor is real.
Back in 2013 Conor also told us that the reason he works so hard is to secure a future for himself and Dee and for their chidren one day.
“That’s why I’m doing this. I want to be financially secure by the time I have kids. I’m not even thinking about kids yet…but when that happens, I want to be ready,” he said.
We think they’d make great parents!
