As RTE are gearing up to start the Irish version of Dancing With The Stars in the new year, speculation continues over who will be competing on the show. The coveted hosting position at the programme is also still up for grabs.
Bosses at the dancing competition have said that they want a male and female host, and have reportedly began screen testing possible presenters.
Although nothing has been confirmed by the national broadcaster yet, stars such as Marty Whelan and Grainne Seoige have been mentioned as hopefuls for presenting Dancing With The Stars, and now another big name has been thrown into the mix.
Former Ireland AM regular Amanda Byram told the Herald that she loves the show, and could be a good fit for the show.
“I have been talking to RTE and TV3 about certain projects. I would never turn my back on Irish television – I am always pitching stuff.
“Possibly (I could host it), yeah. I have not been spoken to about it yet but I love the show – I watch it in the UK. Who knows,” she said.
