Irish stars have taken to Twitter in their droves to share their sentiments on the tense All Ireland final between Dublin and Mayo today.
The game kicked off at 3.30pm and had viewers on the edge of their seats through out. After two own goals at the hands of Mayo’s Kevin McLoughlin and Colm Boyle, it looked like Dublin had it in the bag but then both teams stepped up to the plate and played a heroic match that ended Dublin 2-9 Mayo 0-15 -which means a rematch will have to take place.
A host of famous faces including; Bressie, Roz Purcell, Angela Scanlon and Brian O’Driscoll all took to Twitter to react to the sensational match.
The rematch is set to take place in Croke Park on October 1st, at 5pm!
