It’s not all scrum half and tackles for the Irish rugby team – it seems the lads know how to enjoy themselves too.
The squad are currently in Galway where they were last night treated to a comedy show with none other than Tommy Tiernan.
Cian Healy posted a photo of an empty stage and captioned the shot, “someone take the mic”, it seems that they didn’t know who the mystery comedian was until he walked out on stage.
The Irish Team are currently training for The Rugby world Cup which will be taking place in September, but Joe Scmidt is letting them have a bit of fun too.
When they’re not taking breaks and jumping into the Irish sea, they’re having a bit of craic in some pilates class as Dave Kearney let us know on Instagram last week.
Tommy Tiernan’s impromptu show may have been the highlight so far and Sean Cronin posted on his Twitter page last night about the show.
“What a man…some craic. Popped into hotel to put on a show for the team, brilliant”, he tweeted.
Jamie Heaslip also shared a snap and even Brian O’Driscoll got involved in the fun on Twitter. “There was no way he was getting out of there without a signed jersey underneath his arm!”, he said.
