Could it be?

Are Coldplay actually returning to our little island after six years?

It seems like a very real possibility.

Speculation has been huge at the possibility of a Dublin date after fans spotted the global hitmakers hinting at a Dublin show during their recent world tour.

Irish fans were left heartbroken during earlier tour announcements, after the country was snubbed due to insurance costs. But, fear not, it seems the band have seen the Irish heartbreak and decided to answer our prayers.

Fans spotted the hashtag “#ColdplayDublin” popping up on screens at their European shows, making many believe that an Irish date could be on the cards.

An Irish fan took to Twitter to share a video he took at the concert in Amsterdam which showed the hashtag appearing on screen.

He wrote: “Further hints on Coldplay coming to Dublin… this visible at their Amsterdam gig!”

But, it seems Ticketmaster Ireland is the one sending fans into a complete frenzy, as they posted details earlier today confirming Coldplay live in Dublin next year. They have since been removed.

There will also be two presales; The artist presale will begin at 10am on 25th July, and the promoter presale will start at 10am on 26th July.

Fans can buy a maximum of 4 presale tickets, and a maximum of 4 general sale tickets.
