Here comes the girls! Stars gather for No7 event

Guests on the night included TV3’s Sybil Mulcahy and Aisling O’Loughlin

Last night an exclusive group – including many of Ireland’s most influential women across media, fashion, business and entertainment – attended an intimate gathering at Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud to celebrate an industry first in Ireland for No7’s latest anti-ageing breakthrough.

Event host Gillian Hennessy, Boots Ireland Head of Marketing welcome guests on arrival and raised a toast to No7 Protect & Perfect Intense ADVANCED Serum – their first serum clinically proven to deliver anti-ageing results that get even better over time.

Following a drinks reception, guests, including TV3’s Sybil Mulcahy and Aisling O’Loughlin, Glossybox CEO Rachel Kavanagh and designer Sonya Lennon as well as Rhona Blake, Managing Director at FleishmanHillard, dermatologists Dr Katherine Mulrooney and Dr Jane Mulrooney, model Sarah McGovern and stylists Ingrid Hoey and Holly White, were treated to a sumptuous four course meal in the restaurant’s private Roderic O’Conor Room.

The menu on the night included Dublin Bay prawns with mango, caper and ginger remoulade, fillet of Irish beef with roast foie gras, madeira and truffle jus and for dessert “coeur de guanaja”, a contemporary dark chocolate tart with tonka vanilla ice cream.

Also in attendance was Orla Wardlaw, one of eight real women who last year took part in No7’s ‘Four Weeks, No Mirrors’ challenge and who also appears in the advertising campaign. Orla and the other seven women used No7 Protect & Perfect ADVANCED Serum for four weeks and at the same time all mirrors were removed from their lives. A year on, Orla spoke about her continued use of the serum and the results she has seen.

Last year, the experts at No7 launched the next generation formulation of its much loved and best-selling No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Serum – the new No7 Protect & Perfect Intense ADVANCED Serum, which is clinically proven to produce even better anti-ageing results than the original. Encouraged by the exceptional results after 6 months product use, Boots skincare scientists decided to continue the trial to 12 months, driven by the fact they wanted to see how long the results would continue to get better and knowing that if they could prove these cumulative results, it would be a genuine beauty first. Now, No7 is proud to be able to make this proven claim: ‘Our first serum clinically proven to deliver anti-ageing results that get even better over time’.

To finish off the evening of celebrations, guests departed with a luxurious Aspinal of London leather cosmetic bag including the must-have No7 Protect & Perfect Intense ADVANCED Serum.
