Wedding season is in full swing.
And it was in full swing this weekend for Ireland AM and Grá ar an Trá host Síomha Ní Ruairc’s big day.
She wed her long-term partner Cathal Pendred in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
They had a great ceilí in the five-star Lough Eske Castle in Donegal with her telly pals.
Síomha looked a vision in a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline. The dress featured side ruching as well as a train to add some more drama.
She added a veil with her brunette locks falling down in loose waves around her face.
But it wasn’t just one big day for the Gaeilgoir. It was a full weekend celebration as the next day saw the newlyweds join their friends for another hooley with trad music, step dancing and of course a DJ booth.
The couple was joined by some famous faces for the day including the TG4 star’s Grá ar an Trá co-host James Kavanagh. The influencer looked as stylish as ever in his Jacquemus look.
Niamh Cullen was also there to celebrate the couple’s big day as she wore a multi-coloured two-piece outfit that she rented from Happy Days Style. We love a sustainable queen.
The wedding wouldn’t be complete without Síomha’s How to Gael co-hosts Today FM’s Louise Cantillion and TG4’s Doireann Ní Ghlacáin.
The big day comes four years after Síomha popped the question in the Irish tradition of proposing on a Leap Day.
Of course, 2024 is also a Leap Year!
“Scariest thing I have done in my whole life but it was so so worth it. I couldn’t be happier. Báite i ngrá leat. #leapyear,” she wrote at the time after popping the question.
Comhghairdeas Síomha agus Cathal. Go n-éirí an bóthar libh!
