Lucy Kennedy recently returned to airwaves with a breakfast show on Radio Nova and the presenter has revealed she’s so lucky to be able to call it work.

Her favourite part of the new gig? Presenting with close pal Colm Hayes, of course!

“We officially met when Gerry Ryan passed away, sadly, 10 years ago. A friend put myself and Colm Hayes in touch and we just clicked from day one,” Lucy told VIP Magazine.

“We both have the same very immature sense of humour. We laugh through most ad breaks and he’s just a really good guy.”

Despite lots of messing around, Lucy has learned a lot from Colm – especially when it comes to the station’s choice of music.

“He’s educating me in Nova music because I asked him ‘Is Michael Buble on the playlist?’ and that didn’t go down well because it turns out Michael Buble is not anything to do with rock.”

Meanwhile, busy mum-of-three is filming the new season of her hit show Livin’ With Lucy at the moment, and says her current routine is the best yet.

“I’m [on the radio] Monday to Thursday so most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays doing I’m Living With Lucy.

“I think I’ve finally found a work-life balance. Now I’m able to collect the little ones from school, I’m able to be a mum.”

Lucy was in town for the launch of Aveeno Baby, which is now available in stores nationwide.
