Hughie Maughan has hit out at Jedward’s behaviour in the Big Brother house, branding them as “fake”.
The 22-year-old shot to fame last summer when he appeared on the original version of the reality show – and he’s not impressed with the how Jedward are behaving in this series. The Lucan twins have been repeatedly criticised by their celebrity housemates for being too childish and Hughie believes their behaviour is inauthentic and irritating.
“Jedward are annoying the Hell out of me, I don’t care if they’re Irish.” he said speaking on the The AO Show on iRadio.
“They’re two 25-year-old boys who are acting like they’re four. They’re fake and I think you can see that this time around, I don’t know if that’s their real personalities. I think they’re putting it on for the cameras or exaggerating it.”
Hughie also went on to describe what it’s like to take part in the reality tv show – admitting it’s very tough.
“It is extremely intense, you’re literally inside four walls and controlled massively, it’s the weirdest thing ever.” he said.
“You just go to bed and when you get up they could have taken all the food out of the house. It’s just a very weird world but strangely you adjust very quickly.”
