Aideen Kate has shared another sweet insight into her recent Dublin wedding celebrations, revealing the meaningful symbolic gesture she and husband Dave Kelly included in their intimate legal ceremony.
The influencer, who tied the knot with her long-term partner in a small ceremony at Dublin’s City Hall last month, answered fan questions about the day on Instagram, including whether they incorporated anything symbolic into the proceedings.
While explaining that neither she nor Dave are particularly religious, Aideen said they wanted to mark the occasion with a personal tradition that reflected their relationship.
“We’re not very religious but wanted to do something special,” she noted.

Aideen revealed that on the morning they got engaged, Dave had gifted her a bottle of Moët & Chandon champagne, which she carefully held onto for the past two years.
Rather than opening it straight away, the couple decided to save the bottle for their wedding day and turn it into part of a sentimental time capsule.
“The morning we got engaged, Dave got me a gorgeous bottle of Moët & Chandon which I’ve kept safe for the last two years,” she shared.
The newlyweds then wrote letters to one another before the ceremony and placed them inside a box alongside the champagne bottle, creating a keepsake they plan to revisit in the future.

“We wrote each other letters and at the ceremony we put them in the box with the champagne bottle like a little time capsule,” Aideen explained. “We will open them on our first anniversary.”
The touching revelation is the latest glimpse Aideen has shared from her wedding celebrations.
The property has been in her family for more than a century, making Aideen the fourth generation of brides in her family to prepare for their wedding day there.
