it’s amazing news for Panti Bliss today as she has been voted in at number 29 on Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People list. The public vote closed on Thursday and it seems that the Queen of Ireland has fans worldwide.
The list is made up of “world leaders, great minds in science and technology, outstanding figures in the arts and other icons of the moment” and the Irish activist came in on the list ahead of huge names such as Justin Bieber, Donald Trump and tech guru Elon Musk. Go Panti!
Although Time editors ultimately choose the Top 100, this is still a massive achievement for the Panti Bar owner. She took to social media to share the news and is clearly over the moon.
“So voting is closed on the TIME 100 poll, and bizarrely I came in at #29 (suck it, Vladimir Putin!) That doesn’t mean I’ll actually be on their list though because that’s decided by the magazine’s editorial board, not the public, but I feel like it might at least get me an invite to the party, right?” she tweeted.
We’ll have to wait until April 21st to hear the final list but all in VIP Towers couldn’t be happier for her!
