Hozier’s highly anticipated EP has finally been released after an incredibly successful first album back in 2013.

The first track he released is the compelling Nina Cried Power featuring Mavis Stables.

This week the artist released a powerful video to accompany the song.

“Nina Cried Power is a protest song,” Hozier revealed on social media.

“It’s about crediting the spirit and bravery of people whose voices have made impact on our world and put their work and lives often on the line for Civil Rights.”

The music video is packed full of famous faces, people who are changing the world through activism and using their voice for good.

Among the inspiring people in the video is former Rose of Tralee Maria Walsh, fashion writer and disability activist Sinead Burke, actor Stephen Rea, Amnesty International’s Colm O’Gorman, Panti Bliss and Mavis Staples.
