How Irish stars celebrated Easter in isolation

This was a very different Easter this year, with many of us spending it away from our families. However, most of us made the best of it we could, with many Irish stars sharing on social media how they spent their in lockdown.

Despite Brian’s husband Arthur making it from LA, the pari were unable to spend Easter together as he is now self-isolating as he has been travelling.

Instead Brian spent the day with family and said he would “make it the BEST we can under the circumstances.”

Anna Geary

Anna Geary shared a message about balance in your diet, on a day when most of us do nothing but eat chocolate from noon to night!

⁣⁣”Today, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT, feel guilty about eating plenty of Easter eggs.⁣⁣⁣”

⁣Anna went on to remind her followers that they; “DO NOT need to punish yourself before or afterwards with exercise, to “work off” the chocolate… anyone that suggests otherwise, unfollow their ass…”

Rosie Connolly

Rosie Connolly looked stunning yesterday as she got dressed up to spend Easter at home with her family. The style influencer would usually spend the day at her Mum’s so spent yesterday cooking her first roast dinner; “hoping to recreate what my Mum does for us every Easter Sunday.
Rosie also shared a message to all those who worked yesterday; “I just want to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to those who got up this morning and went to work to help those who need it… you are hero’s”
Grainne Gallanagh
Irish model, Grainne Gallanagh shared her dismay at not being able to head out with her friends this weekend; “normally at this time I would be getting ready for a big bank holiday night out.”
The DWTS contestant instead decided to focus on what she can do; “I’m focusing on relaxing without that pressure that I should be somewhere or doing something, spending time with the family and eating my body weight in chocolate.”

Aoibhe Devlin, who is expecting her second baby soon got dressed up for a day at home with family; “I couldn’t think of anywhere better to wear it, than to my kitchen today for Easter Sunday dinner.”
However, compared to how she’d usually wear it, with heels and some tan the style influencer her her PJ shorts and Ugg slippers on with it instead!
Louise Cooney
Louise Cooney was able to spend yesterday with her family, after spending two weeks in isolation after travelling home from NYC.
Back in Limerick with her family she said she was; “Stuffed to the gills & so happy to be home.”

Storm Keating is not long home after having her baby girl, Coco. Yesterday she spent the afternoon in the garden doing an egg with family posting; “Happy Easter from the Keating’s!”

The Irish presenter celebrated Easter at home with her partner Iain Stirling. Sharing a cute snap of her and their dog in bunny ears Laura spoke about not feeling the best yesterday with her followers; “I’ve felt a bit anxious today despite the sun shining and a garden Easter hunt. But that means tomorrow will be a better day.”
Vogue Williams

Vogue Williams shared her sadness at not being around her family at this time; “It’s not ideal being away from our families but we have got this!”

Instead of being with her and Spencer’s extended families they spent it together in London apartment.

Amy Huberman shared a picture of husband, Brian O’Driscoll not with an easter egg, but with a chocolate egg.
She hilariously found a chocolate santa at the back of the press and dubbed it “a baffling Christmas miracle.”

Jodie Wood

Irish influencer and journalist, Jodie Wood shared a gorgeous snap of her and her boys in their back garden.
However, she did share that she was missing family and friends; “like everyone else we would love to have been with family and friends this Easter. As soon as this is well and truly done I’ll be having everyone I know over for a giant bbq, or maybe it’ll be roast if it’s winter time.”

Rosanna Davison celebrated her daughter’s Sofie’s first Easter, and she went all out with pink bunnies everywhere!
She wished her followers; “a happy, healthy and safe Easter.”

Lisa Jordan

Lisa Jordan celebrated her Easter Sunday with her two little girls, Pearl and Bowie.

“I know it’s not what we are used to but cherish every moment…the sun will shine even brighter soon and we can all be together.”
