Irish band Hometown have reached an impressive milestone in their blossoming career.
The band have recorded the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows theme tune, which will be featured in the movie itself.
The recording will play during the closing credits of the film in cinemas around Ireland, and is a huge accomplishment for the group.
The song is called Turtle Power and the band members, Brendan, Cian, Dayl, Dean, Josh and Ryan were delighted to be involved in such an iconic film.
They said, “We were so excited when asked to record the TMNT theme tune!
“It was something we never would have dreamed of being able to do.
“We’re all such big fans and this is something that we cherish for a lifetime!”
Each country in which the movie airs, will have a different local band performing the theme tune on the closing credits, but we’ll have the pleasure of hearing Hometowns version throughout cinemas nationwide.

Hometown have had two number one singles, a top 10 album, and have also toured across the UK, Ireland and abroad, supporting Shane Filan, The Vamps as well as selling out headline shows of their own to thousands of adoring fans.
