He may have left Strictly Come Dancing quite some time ago, but Daniel O’Donnell is still in close contact with all the contestants.
In fact, the Donegal crooner set up a WhatsApp group with his Strictly pals to help them all keep in touch – which he uses to serenade them!
The singer has been sending lullabies to his co-stars on the BBC show, such as his dancing partner Kristina Rihanoff and celebs like Peter Andre, via voice notes on the group.
His wife Majella disclosed: “When they’ve had a stressful day, he’ll sing a little verse of a song to the group or they say ‘just going to bed now Daniel, sing us a song’ and he’ll sing a lullaby, it’s funny.”
Speaking to the Herald, Daniel admitted he’s currently preparing to fly back to London for the final of the reality show.
“We’re all going back for the final, we have three days rehearsal, but I don’t know what dance I’ll be doing,” he said.
Meanwhile, the couple are enjoying success with their UTV Ireland ‘road trip’ show, which has been commissioned for a second series.
Daniel and Majella’s B&B Road Trip has been a huge hit with viewers, drawing in an average of 230,000 people per episode and 15% audience share.
