George McMahon has spilled some major details on his upcoming wedding to girlfriend Rachel.
The gorgeous couple and their adorable little girl, Frankie, are in Nerja, Spain, ahead of the big day next week – and with the preparations in full swing, we caught up with the Fair City to get the low down on their romantic plans.
“The preparations are going great, it was all pretty much done before we came over so it’s just a matter of crossing a few T’s and dotting a few I’s,” George told VIP Magazine.
“The ceremony and the reception are both taking place in a Villa in Nerja, it’s all going ahead in the same place.
“For me and Rachel anyway we just want the day itself to be full of fun. We really just asked oursleves ‘what kind of a day out would I like?’ And hopefully our guests will get on that buzz.
“It’s a nice evening wedding, the ceremony starts at half five as it’s very warm over here.”
George went on to reveal that a close friend of the couple would be performing the ceremony, with the man in question being none other than Boyzone star Keith Duffy.
“Keith Duffy is going to be our celebrant, he’ll be marrying us.” the actor revealed.
“He’s a big part of our love story, he was there from the start of the Rachel and George story so we thought it would be very fitting to have him as part of our ceremony.
“We have a lovely ceremony planned, we created our own vows. Rachel’s friends are going to be singing too. So it’s all about friends and family. It’s going to be really special.”
