Kerrie Harris has revealed that herself and hubby-to-be Robbie Brady are putting their wedding planning on hold. The loved-up pair got engaged last month, when Robbie popped the question with the couple’s daughter Halle by his side.
Speaking to the Irish Sun at the National Maternity Hospital in Dublin yesterday, 25-year-old Kerrie said that Robbie’s proposal was very thoughtful, as it took place where their romance first started.
“He got me, I was shocked. Obviously I knew I wanted to marry Robbie and I was with him, but I didn’t know how or when he was going to do it.
“It was in Manchester. When I started going out with Robbie properly, it all began in Manchester. It was the starting point of our journey so he wanted to do it there as it meant something to us,” she said.
The mum-of-one has just launched her blog Two Do List with her sister Leah-Ann. The siblings are both engaged and both have one child, so they plan on documenting their journeys, as well as having additional posts about fashion and fitness.
Although Kerrie is very excited to marry her long-term love, she says that the pair are loving being engaged for the moment, and will begin their wedding planning in a few months time.
“I’m doing it with my sister. She’s in Ireland, I’m in England so it’s a good way of keeping in touch.
“She’s getting married too and she just had a baby so it will be babies, weddings, fitness, fashion, beauty, a bit of everything.
“I’m just enjoying being engaged. My sister is getting married in August so I’m enjoying the build-up for hers and then we’ll be all talk about ours. I’m her maid of honour and she’s mine,” she said.
