Hair Cafe Smithfield has expanded to a new premises!
After outgrowing their current location in Smithfield. The Hair Cafe team excitedly welcomed guests to the newly fitted bigger and better 1550 sq ft location in Smithfield’s trendy Thundercut Alley.
Smithfield has seen a booming regeneration in recent years and Director of the Hair Cafe, Anita Donoghue saw it’s massive potential.
“I wanted Hair Cafe to be among emerging talent and unique businesses, it’s very much a community here with a thriving atmosphere which is what our business is all about”.
Anita owns the Hair Cafe along with her partner and Style Director Steve Kutcher aka The Hungarian Hair God!
Steve has 17 years experience in hairdressing and since the Hair Cafe opened in 2016 expansion has been the goal. With Anita’s savvy business acumen and Steve’s talent, the couple are already eyeing up properties for the Hair Cafes next location.
The salon uses Kevin Murphy colour and products which are all cruelty-free and some vegan. “We wanted the salon to be as friendly to the earth as possible” says Anita.
“We needed a brand that reflected our values and Kevin Murphy offers that but with also exceptional quality and results for our clients something Steve would not compromise on.”
Guests were welcomed to the stunning new location by Bloom Gin cocktails from a bespoke bar built for the evening. Guests also nibbled on Oishi Sushi and sampled amazing sweet creations from fellow Hungarian and expert creative pastry chef Norbert Farkas. Goodie bags with Kevin Murphy and Brazilian Blowout goodies were presented to guests on leaving.
