Grainne Gallanagh is cracking us up on Instagram at the moment. Between her mowing the lawn in a red silk guna to having the entire family doing river dance in the back garden, she’s had us in stitches.
The latest video she’s posted is in relation to going back to nursing. Showing herself arriving home like a hero, her family quickly turn on her by keeping her at a distance with a broom and dousing her with buckets of water. If you need a laugh, we recommend giving this a watch.
Only recently Grainne returned to nursing, joining the thousands of frontline workers across the country as they battle against Covid19.
The model and former Dancing with the Stars contestant previously worked in the healthcare profession, and recently re-registered as a nurse to help with the pandemic.
Grainne started work last week, and reveals it hasn’t been an easy adjustment.
Taking to Instagram she said, “I like to keep my page positive and fun but I’ll be honest, I was a bag of nerves starting back in the hospital today!”
“I have the utmost respect for every nurse, doctor, carer and frontline staff who is working around the clock right now. And also for everyone that is at home just doing their utmost best to get by.
“When all of this is a distant memory we will remember how we took a breather, looked out for each other and learned to appreciate the little things.”
