Rugby ace Gordon D’Arcy posted a sweet picture of his leading ladies on his Instagram account today with the endearing caption: “Familie über alles” -which translates from German to ‘Family over everything’.
The adorable snap shows the proud daddy giving Soleil – which is also French for ‘The Sun – a big kiss after Ireland’s win against Scotland on Saturday as wife Aoife Cogan looks on happily. This is the first glimpse the couple has given us of their gorgeous daughter, although they were spotted taking her for a stroll last week.
It was recently revealed they would not be showing off their bundle of joy on the pages of glossy magazines, and have chosen to introduce her to the world by sharing this candid shot instead. The cute couple welcomed their first child in May and have settled into familial bliss over the past few months. Daddy Gordon previously had been teasing us with pictures of her tiny little hands and feet on his Instagram.

Meanwhile, actress Amy Huberman joked earlier this summer that she hopes her son Billy will marry baby Soleil one day in the future. “Maybe Billy and Soleil will get married! I’m so thrilled for them and I can’t wait to meet her,” she told Independent.ie.
