Glamorous guests descended on Drury Buildings, Dublin 2 recetly to sample the best of Barcelonan beer and buzz at the official launch of Estrella Damm in Ireland.
Xpose’s Sean Munsanje and fashion presenter Ciara O’Doherty were among the stylish crowd that was treated to dry-cured Jamón Serrano, carved straight off the bone, which was served alongside Manchego cheese croquettes to contrast with the subtle sweetness and light carbonation of Estrella Damm.
A large spicy Paella de Marisco (seafood) was paired with Inedit Damm, a fine food beer with citrus and spice aromas, and Daura Damm, a coeliac-friendly beer with a sweet malt flavour, was complemented by a selection of tapas including chicken thighs in Tomesco sauce, chargrilled fennel in tomato and caper salsa and a selection of chargrilled Mediterranean vegetables.
Distributed by Molson Coors, Ireland’s 3rd largest and fastest growing brewer, Estrella Damm is the latest edition to its world beer portfolio.
Estrella Damm, the beer of Barcelona, is a premium, refreshing lager which uses only 100% natural ingredients and is now available in Ireland in bottle and on draught. Also available on the night were two other members of the Damm family, the gluten free Daura Damm (bottled) and Inedit Damm (bottled), which was created in collaboration with the world’s most awarded chef, Ferran Adrià of ElBulli fame, specifically designed to pair with fine food.
