Anyone who is following Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams on Twitter will know that his tweets are absolute gold – albeit slightly bizarre.
The politician frequently posts about his very random thoughts, as well as selfies of him and his, um, teddy bears Ted & Tom, and now he’s decided to cash in on his cult following by releasing a book.
Yup, you heard that right – Gerry’s debut literary offering ‘My Little Book of Tweets’ will be going on sale at the end of the month, and his party’s website says it will show “the lighter side of his personality.”
Sinn Fein also promises that the book will include ‘selfies, rubber ducks and teddy bears’ and describes his tweets as “weird and as part of a clever strategy”.
You can get your copy on January 29th at a price of €8.99. In the meantime, have a look through our gallery for our top picks of Gerry’s twitterisms…
