George R. R. Martin’s latest TV venture is set to be filmed in Limerick.
The series, Nightflyers, will be adapted from the author’s science fiction novella of the same name.
The set for the show is currently being built in Troy Studios in Limerick, according to IFTN.
A pilot and season one of the show are due to shoot over a sixteen-week period starting later this year. It is expected that five hundred people will work on the show.
Martin is obviously a fan of filming on Irish soil, with the hugely popular Game Of Thrones largely filmed in Antrim.
