Taking over from Amanda Byram at the start of this year, Jen and Westlife’s Nicky Byrne head up the Sunday night show, that has now surpassed the ratings of RTE’s flagship show, The Late Late Show.

According to The Irish Sun, an average of 444,000 viewers tuned in to Dancing With The Stars last Sunday, while only 400,000 watched the Late Late Show on the Friday evening.

Since the figures emerged, comedian and DWTS contestant Fred Cooke heaped praise on Jennifer – saying she has been ‘incredibe’ since taking the reigns.

“Jennifer has been a revelation on DWTS. She had never done live TV before but she’s astonished everybody,” Fred told The Irish Sun.

“From her first show, Jennifer was dancing, switching costume, reading the autocue and improvising on live TV. It’s quite incredible.”
