Former Rose of Tralee, Maria Walsh, has decided to pursue a career in television, starting off with a stint on TV3’s The Seven O’Clock Show.
Maria’s set to take the reins on the show next Monday as a stand in presenter for Lucy Kennedy.
Speaking to the Irish Independent, the Mayo woman said, “I am excited to be in the hot seat alongside Martin this coming Monday for The 7 O’Clock Show, and again on the 9th with Lucy!”
She continued, “I loved being a guest during my Rose year. The craic the pair of them have in studio with their guests always leaves people at home wanting more than the hour.”
Martin King can’t wait to have her on the show. Taking to Twitter, he said, “Looking forward to sharing the couch with you on Monday. We’ll have a few laughs!”
We’re dying to see how these pair get on.
